The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is only awarded to textiles that comply with the strictest organic standards in their production and quality. The criteria are the strictest for textiles worldwide. 

• Environmental, human and animal protection are at the heart of the regulations.
• Production must be carried out in accordance with social guidelines laid down by the International Labor Organization.

Three categories therefore define the framework of the certification: environmental protection, production under fair conditions and product quality testing.

• Substances such as PVC, nickel or chrome must not be used.
• Fair production conditions according to ILO must be observed
